This is series of screen prints of diseased eyeballs made in 2016. The inspiration comes from getting diagnosed with a left central vein occlusion in 2014, an eye condition in which my retina would swell up and cause impaired vision. During my visits to the eye doctor, I found myself mesmerized by the medical imaging done on my eyes and wanted to create something that could capture the beauty I found even in sickness.
